New Features & Performance Update of “Follow My Portfolio” Service

Follow Dr Vijay Malik’s Portfolio with Latest Buy/Sell Transaction updates” is a premium service in which we provide the subscribers an access to the details of our equity portfolio along with latest buy/sell transactions in our portfolio.

It is an information service (not an advisory service), which lets the subscribers know what % of our portfolio has been invested in each of the stocks and what stocks we are buying currently. Buy/sell transactions list includes the stocks that we have bought recently along with the prices at which we bought them.

The “Follow My Portfolio” service is to act as an information source to subscribers about the stocks that we are buying currently. This is an information source to subscribers to know what stocks we believe are currently within our buying range so that they may choose to take a decision accordingly.

We have recently updated the service to add certain more features, which are listed below:

  • My Portfolio” page contained the list of latest 10 buy/sell transactions.
  • Older transactions (>10th) were removed from the list


  • All the buy/sell transactions since the start of the service (July 30, 2016) are now present on the portfolio page.
  • As on date (January 27, 2017), the list contains 33 transactions, including 32 buy transactions and 1 sell transaction.
  • The entire list of transactions starting from the commencement of the service along with future updates would be kept on the “My Portfolio” page so that the subscribers who have joined on later dates do not miss out on the previous transactions
  • Only 1 years subscription option was available for subscribers


  • A new 2 years subscription option has also been introduced.
  • Now subscribers may choose from the 1 year or 2 year subscription option while taking fresh subscription or renewals or for extending the subscription period even during the middle of the existing running subscription.

  • The portfolio composition details as on July 30, 2016 (based on closing prices of July 29, 2016) have been disclosed at the “My Portfolio” page.
  • Original portfolio composition at the start of “Follow My Portfolio” service along with the buy/sell transactions would help all the investors understand the dynamic progression of the portfolio over time.
  • This would especially help the investors who have joined the service subsequent to July 30, 2016 as the latest portfolio composition keeps on changing with every transaction.

The “Follow Dr Vijay Malik’s Portfolio with Latest Buy/Sell Transaction Updates” service now involves:

  1. Update by email about all the future transactions (buy as well as sell) in our portfolio at the end of the day of the transaction (after market closing hours) during the period of the subscription. The email update would contain the details of the stock bought/sold and the price at which the transaction was done.
  2. Access to the premium section containing updated details of our portfolio and the list of all the transactions from the start of this service (July 30, 2016) until date during the subscription period, at the following link:


Updates on portfolio performance as on January 27, 2017:

  • This premium service was commenced on July 30, 2016. The portfolio had generated annualized return (CAGR) 73.25% from the start date of portfolio August 8, 2011 up to July 30, 2016 (at closing prices of July 29, 2016).
  • Since July 30, 2016 up to January 27, 2017, the portfolio has generated annualized return (CAGR/XIRR) of 45.30% against the decline in BSE Sensex levels from 28,051.86 (closing price on July 29, 2016) to 27,882.46 (closing level on January 27, 2017) representing annualized return (CAGR/XIRR) of -1.21%
  • The total annualized return from the start date of portfolio August 8, 2011 up to January 27, 2017 stands at 64.27%.
    • During the same period BSE Sensex level has increased from 16,990.18 (August 8, 2011) to 27,882.46 (January 27, 2017) representing an annualized rate (CAGR) of 9.47%
    • During the same period NSE Nifty level has increased from 5,118.50 (August 8, 2011) to 8,641.25 (January 27, 2017) representing an annualized rate (CAGR) of 10.03%
